On this Friday, my dear friend Luca approached me and explained that Jack knew about my crush on him and had known about it for months. Jack's best friend had found this out months ago and I, stupidly, believed he wouldn't tell Jack. One of my closest friends who also happened to be Jack's best friend knew that I liked him. It had all been going so well until it all came crashing down on one fateful Friday. We even helped each other study for our language speaking exams (he took Spanish and I took German). Throughout the year we would always talk to each other whether it was gossip, joking around, or even just discussing the work together. In reality, he was just really nice to me. In my eyes, Jack was a flawless entity that could do no wrong and I was crushing on him big time. At the time I thought nothing of it, little did I know that Jack would become one of the only reasons I went to English class and would become the main topic of my conversations with friends. Jack was a friend of mine but that's all he was by that point. My teacher had the seating chart up on the board and I saw that I would be seated next to a boy named Jack. It all started on the first day of my English class. Well, not quite in love but I definitely developed an ongoing crush on someone. In my final year of secondary school I had fallen in love. Could you maybe describe this glass prison in more detail? Just a You describe it as a 'glass prison,' a really I didn't know exactly what you meant by that. Of a satisfying ending-l wanted to hear more about this idea of 'self doubt' that you mention in the I felt myself wanting another stanza or two to give this more I like how there's some rhyming in the poem but I was hoping there would be more. Readers head and you can hear/imagine a ringing phone go off because of how vivid that line is. You say 'the house silent then suddenly sparks to life with a phone call', this creates a picture in the In addition, I also like how you add description in the poem like when It puts a lot of emphasis and meaningīehind the title of the poem. Line which also corresponds to the title of the poem itself. For one, I like how every stanza ends with the same O-, I really like a few things about your poem.
